When sharing a story, it's helpful to start at the beginning. Some 30 plus years ago the ministry founder had an awakening where the scales fell away and through an encounter with Yeshua/Jesus he accepted the Lord as God and Savior. At that same time he felt directed to do whatever he was shown to be led and to love and to serve those who were crying out. We know now that the scripture was spoken was Isaiah 41:9b-10 and "I said, you are my servant; I have chosen you and not rejected you. So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you with my righteous right hand."
So, over the years he served - whenever, wherever as he was led. Saved at 40, God placed him into a vibrant but small church, and he became part of the adult leaders for a large youth group. He worked as a sound tech and served as a deacon... always as unto the Lord.
Then a few years later he was called upon to move west to take care of his aging parents, which he did for over 16 years.

Additionally, though, he was active in his first Arizona home church, Calvary Church of the Valley, where he produced a radio program for his pastor for a season, was an usher and assisted on campus for a Season.
A new chapter opened when he was led of the Lord to affiliate with Calvary Community Church, and now 21+ years later, he is still there. First, as an usher, then as a helper in the food ministry, and then not long after becoming the Director of the Manna Ministry, with numerous volunteer helpers and remains active today.
